Healing With Crystals
As the name suggests, crystal healing is a healing form that uses crystals or gemstones. The crystals are primarily placed on specific areas of the body called “chakras” – meaning “spiritual energy”. As per Hindu teachings there are seven basic energy centres in the body, each having a colour associated with it. It is these energy centres that are tapped during crystal healing.
It is believed that crystals direct the flow of energy in a person to a particular part of the body and bring balance to the individual’s energy. Ultimately, they are used to cleanse the person from the negative energy and low vibrations that may well be the root cause of a physical illness. Crystals can be used for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual healing.
AMETHYST
Description: Purple colour stone varying in shade from light lavender to deep purple.
Details: The crystal of awareness, stimulates the crown chakra and thus makes one realize the purpose of life, thereby revealing the true meaning of the materialistic world and life. Due to this property, it is an effective crystal for any sort of de-addiction and detachment. As one grows more aware of the “true self” he/she starts getting detached. Therefore, it is always advisable to use amethyst with rose quartz to balance the detachment aspect. This crystal also helps in effective manifestations and creating abundance at a higher level of consciousness.
Uses: Balances emotions both on an individual level and between opposing personalities. It is useful in healing all chakras, especially the 3rd and 7th. It enhances dream states, meditation, and channeling as it increases spiritual awareness and is useful for meditation. Amethyst has the ability to transform negative energy into positive energy. Even other crystals when placed on amethyst are similarly cleansed. It can strengthen the heart and lungs as well as cleanse the liver.

BLACK TOURMALINE
Description: Deep Black with opaque transparency
Details: This is fondly considered to be an effective protection crystal with amazing grounding qualities. It stabilizes the energy and keeps one close to Mother Earth, deeply rooted, which in turn brings more stability and generates confidence. This is an effective barrier against negative energies and psychic attacks and can be worn and carried along for continual protection.

Description: Clear white to ice white with inclusions, Transparency – transparent to translucent. Pure clear quartz is colourless, but impurities may give it a colour.
Details: The magnifier crystal, clear quartz resonates with all chakras. This is an excellent crystal for programming any intention where magnification of intent is required. Irrespective of the amount of transparency this is an amazing crystal, which can be used for many purposes. The vibrations are usually soothing, but at times could be intense depending on the person working with it.
